The syllabus is comprised of the Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects. It is same as SSC examination organized by the Board of Secondary Education, Telangana.

Preparation Tips

TS Polycet Exam Pattern 2025

The exam pattern of CET for admission to the polytechnic will be comprised of 150 multiple-choice questions. Each question will consist of four answers. Out of these four, candidates will have to choose an appropriate answer.

No candidate will be allowed to choose more than one answer to the same question. The exam will be conducted via the offline mode (pen-paper mode). The questions will be asked in English & Telugu language.

The exam duration will be 2 hours & 30 minutes. For a correct answer, one mark will be allotted to the candidates. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. So, candidates are advised to attempt all the questions.

Candidates must go through following tips & tricks while preparing for TS Polycet exam:

• Candidates must make a proper timetable & follow it on a regular basis. Being disciplined and following a good and balanced study schedule is very helpful in focusing while studying.
• Know complete details about exam pattern & syllabus. Candidates should collect all the correct and official syllabus before starting their preparation.
• Solve previous year’s questions paper as much as you can and take mock tests which are available in both online and offline mode. This will help you understand the exam format and also will make you familiar with types of questions asked in paper.
• Remember some tricks to solve questions more easily & in less time.
• Also, give proper time to sleep & extra activities. If you want to focus while studying it is very important to have a proper sleep of 7 to 8 hours.
• Form a group study & ask each other questions.
• Revision is a key to success. Keep at least last week for revision.
• Focus on your health. Do meditation & yoga to be fit & healthy.
