State Exam

The Telangana EAMCET or TS EAMCET 2016 is a common selection examination to get the admission in various undergraduate Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) courses in the government and private colleges situated in the Telangana state. All India seats will be allotted to the candidates qualifying the JEE Main 2016.

B.Tech Admission 2016

For Telangana B.Tech Admission 2016, every year Telangana EAMCET 2016 entrance exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University in various centers of Andhra Pradesh (AP) & Telangana states. The application form for the exam has been over now.

All the candidates should have passed or completed the intermediate examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry from a recognized board secured with 45% marks. There are lateral entry process Diploma holders. Candidates should have passed or appeared in diploma engineering examinations which are organized by the State Board of Technical Education.

There is no age limit for Telangana EAMCET 2016. The minimum age of candidates should be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of the year of admission. For unreserved category/ reserved category the upper age limit of candidate is 22 years/25 years respectively.

Document Required

At the time of Counselling, Check the various documents and certificates list which are required. The following documents with original and Xerox copies aspirants should produce.

• 10th class mark sheet (SSC Marks sheet and pass certificate)
• Intermediate or Equivalent mark sheet and pass certificate
• Telangana EAMCET/ JEE Main 2016 Hall ticket
• Telangana EAMCET/ JEE Main 2016 Rank Card
• Transfer certificate from college (TC)
• Caste certificate for only BC, SC, ST and Minority candidates only

Selection Process

Every Year, the Counselling of Telangana B.Tech Admission 2016 has been started from June 2016. The Counselling procedure includes certificate verification and choice entry for undergraduate engineering programmes in the colleges of Telangana. • The counselling process proceeds in two phases (First: Document verification and Second: Choice filling).
• After Document verification, candidates need to download the counselling form and pay the counselling fee online.
• Candidate fills all the details and the choice of courses and Institution according to their need.
• After the completion of form filling, applicants have advised to take the printout of the form for further procedure.
• After seat allotment, candidates have to report to the allotted colleges to finish the admission formalities.
