Admission Procedure
The Candidates will be required to appear and qualify in the NEET 2025 test in order to apply for admission for M.B.B.S & B.D.S course in the Sikkim. There will be no separate state level examination conducted by any other authority in the state for admission in medical and dental courses in the state.

Eligibility:
- The candidate must be 17 years old at the time of admission.
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects.
- The candidates belonging to the General category need to score 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology in qualifying examination.
- Candidates belonging to reserved category have to secure 40% in qualifying examination.
- It is mandatory for all the applicants to qualify NEET 2025 in order to participate in the admission procedure of MBBS 2025.
Selection Process
The candidate needs to appear for NEET 2025 and qualify it. After qualifying NEET exam, candidates will be able to apply for MBBS in Sikkim through online application form available on the government portal. The candidates will be called for counselling procedure by the authorities on the basis of merit list. Only those candidates have scored qualified marks in the examination of NEET are shortlisted in the merit list. The merit list will be declared by the Government of Sikkim. Then the selected candidates will be called for document verification process after which they will be allotted seat. The candidate will have to report to the college in the stipulated time to take admission as a student for the allotted seat.
