GUJCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

GUJCET is an entrance examination conducted for the engineering degree and pharmacy degree and diploma courses. To fill GUJCET 2025 application form, candidates will have to satisfy some eligibility norms. There will be different eligibility criteria for the different courses. The eligibility norms are as given below:

General Eligibility (For All Courses):

• Nationality/ Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India. No foreigners will be allowed to apply.
• Domicile/Residence: Candidates must have a domicile of Gujarat state. Candidates residing in other states of India will be able to apply if they have a domicile certificate of Gujarat state.

For Engineering:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed higher secondary (12th) examination from Gujarat State Education Board or any other recognized board of India.
• Subjects: Candidates must pass higher secondary (12th) examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates must have passed higher secondary (12th) examination with minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST & SEBC).
• Appearing Candidates: Candidates those will be appearing for their qualifying examination in the current year will be also eligible to apply.

For Pharmacy Courses:

The eligibility for Pharmacy diploma & degree courses will be as mentioned below:

For Degree Course:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed higher secondary (12th) examination from Gujarat State Education Board or any other recognized board of India.
• Subjects: Candidates must pass higher secondary (12th) examination with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates must have passed higher secondary (12th) examination with minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST & SEBC).
• Appearing Candidates: Candidates those will be appearing for their qualifying examination in the current year will be also eligible to apply.

For Diploma Course:

• Appearing Candidates: Candidates who will be appearing for their qualifying examination in the current year will be also eligible to apply.

GUJCET 2025 Application Form

GUJCET 2025 Application Form will be released via online mode in first week of January 2025. The last date to apply will be till third week of January 2025. Students will be able to fill the form till fourth week of January 2025 without any late fee.

Candidates must fill the application form from the website of GSEB. There will be no correction facility provided after the last date of application form. Candidates must fill the application form carefully.

During the application form filling, candidates will have to fill all personal, academic, communication and educational details followed by uploading the images. Candidates will have to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
