Suyash Institute of Information Technology, Gorakhpur

Suyash Institute of Information Technology (SIIT) was established in the year 2009 as a private and self-financed institution set up by the Smt. Rampati Seva Nyas charitable Trust. The college is affiliated to the UP technical University. The SIIT is approved by the AICTE, MHRD, New Delhi and State Government of UP.

Campus:

The SIIT is situated near Sahara Estate at Hakkabad in Gorakhpur, the district of UP. The campus is spread over an area of 10.3 acres of land. The campus is 5 km away from the town Khorana and 10 km away from the Gorakhpur City. The campus is accessible from the nearby cities by the roads and rail.

Programmes:

The SIIT is offering total 14 academic programmes as 4 year full-time B.Tech programmes in six disciplines, 2 year M.Tech programmes in four disciplines and 3 year polytechnic diploma programmes in 4 disciplines of engineering and technology.

Students & Faculty:

The college offers 800 seats for admission as an intake capacity in all programmes. The college has a team of around 31 members of the faculty.

Facilities:

The SIIT has a good academic block with all modern amenities and latest facilities like separated hostels for boys and girls, vast library with huge numbers of volumes, well equipped laboratories, medical facility and transport facility.

Placement & Activities:

The SIIT has a training and placement cell which is providing the summer trainings and internship to the students and arranges the campus interviews. The cell also provides the personality development programmes to the students.

The college organizes and conducts the leadership and communication skills development programmes. The college also organizes the co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
