Shekhawati Institute of Engineering & Technology, Sikar

Shekhawati Institute of Engineering & Technology (SIET) is a private aided engineering college located in Silkar district of Rajasthan. The college was established in the year 2008. The SIET has been promoted by the Gurukul Shikshan Sansthan which was established in the year 2002. The primary objective of the trust is to provide best education in the field of technical education to the young generation of Rajasthan. The college is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) Kota and approved by AICTE New Delhi.

Campus:

The SIET is spread in an area of 20 acres of land. The building consists of class room, computer centre, auditorium, cafeteria and various administration blocks. The college is located in Sikar which is 120km from Jaipur city.

Programmes:

The SIET is offering courses undergraduate engineering courses in six disciplines leading to the degree of Bachelor of Technology. All the courses offered by the college are approved by AICTE and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University.

Facilities:

The college provides all major facilities having sufficient infrastructure with spacious and ventilated classrooms, well stocked library, state of the art workshops, computer centre with latest hardware and software. The college also provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls, sports facility.

Placement:

The Training and Placement department of the college helps the students in their campus recruitment process; the major recruiters of the college were Wipro, Yamaha, Huawei, Infosys, SAP etc.

Activities:

The college organizes many events to enhance the overall personality of the students. These activities include social, cultural and technical events.
