School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi

School of Planning and Architecture, (SPA) Delhi is an autonomous institution of Ministry of HRD, government of India. The college is renowned colleges of planning and architecture in the country, ranked as one of the best in the country and Asia. The college was established in the year 1941 as a department of Architecture of Delhi Polytechnic. In 1979 the government of India conferred the School of Planning and Architecture with the status of “Deemed to be a University”.

Campus:

The SPA Delhi campus is located near ITO in Indraprastha Estate in New Delhi. The college campus is spread in a huge area, with good infrastructure and modern teaching facilities.

Programmes:

The college has 12 departments of planning and architecture and offering various courses in graduate and postgraduate engineering disciplines.

Facilities:

The major facilities provided by SPA Delhi include well equipped labs and workshops, spacious and ventilated rooms, library with large collection of books and journals, computer centre, hostel facility, canteen and mess facility etc.

Activities:

The activities that are organized in the college include Sports Event, Tech Fest, Workshops and Seminars, Annual Day etc.

Placement:

The placement cell of the college assists the students in their placement and training activities. The students of the college are recruited in the top organization of the country and the world. Many renowned companies visit the campus for campus recruitment of the students.
