Saraswati Institute of Technology & Management, Unnao

Saraswati Institute of Technology & Management (SITM) was established in the year 2007 as a private, self-financed and co-educational institution founded by the Saraswati Group of Educational Institutes. The college is affiliated to the UPTU, Lucknow. The SITM is approved by the AICTE, and MHRD, New Delhi and State Board of Technical Education and Government of UP.

Campus:

The campus is situated on the Lucknow – Kanpur National Highway (NH-25) at Madhu Vihar in Unnao, the district of UP. The campus is 40 km away from the Lucknow City and 20 km from the Amausi Airport. The college is co-located with four more institutions founded by the same group and spread over an area of 37 acres of land.

Programmes:

The college is offering total seven academic programmes as six B.Tech degree programmes in the field of engineering and technology and an MBA programme in five disciplines of business management.

Students & Staff:

There are around 480 seats as an intake capacity in all programmes offered by the SITM, beside the Group which has more than 1500 students, over 200 members of faculties and over 700 non-technical staff members.

Facilities:

The SITM campus houses in various educational facilities in term of modern classrooms, laboratories, computer centre, well-stocked library, 24X7 internet connectivity, canteen, medical facility, sports centre, boys and girls hostels  and transportation facility for the students and staff.

Placement:

The TPO cell of the college is focused on the developing the self-initiatives, business development skills, decision-making skills with a positive attitude and leadership abilities of the students. The cell offers live assignment, live projects, group discussion and job oriented trainings & programmes. The college has a very healthy corporate linkage for corporate lectures, industrial visits and job placement.

The college has a student welfare centre, sports club, dramatics club and cultural club. The college participates in various co-curricular activities.
