The head office of the board is located at Guwahati, Assam. The board will also be responsible for the declaration of the 10th board examination result. Many students appeared every year in the Assam 12th examination and most of them cleared the exam with good scores.

Assam 12th Result 2025 Dates

Last year, examination is held from 24th January 2024 and continued till 13th March 2024. result for the same has been declared on 9th May 2024. This year, examination has been held from 13th February to 17th March 2025. Result for this year will be announced in May 2025.

The result will be made available for Commerce, Arts, Science & Vocational streams. The result will be generated separately for all streams. The students will have to check the result as per the stream they have opted in their 12th class.

Assam Higher Secondary Result Analysis

In the year 2015, total of 67, 561 students were appeared in the examination out of which 74.76 % students were passed in the exam. From the above stats, we can see that the number of appearing students is increasing every year.

In the year 2016, the total number of students appeared in the 12th exam are one lakh more than the previous one. In the year 2017, total 2,71,284 students were appeared in the exam.

In year 2018, Total 83.29% boys were passed the examination and girls passing percentage was 82.25%. We hope that in the upcoming year, the result will increase with good percentage.

In year 2020, total of 2,42,843 students appeared for exam & girls passing percentage was 89.46% whereas for boys was 93%.

In year 2021, very few students registered for exam while overall passing percentage was 93.10%.

In year 2022, total 1,56,107 candidates were appeared in 12th exam out of which 1,30,324 students qualified the examination & total passing percentage was 83.48%.

In 2024, total 2,73,908 students have appeared in the exam out of which 2,42,794 candidates have passed the exam. The overall passing percentage was 88.64%.
