Ram Govind Institute of Technology, Koderma

Ram Govind Institute of Technology, (RIT) Koderma was established in the year 2004. The college is located in Koderma district of Jharkhand. The college is a joint venture with the government of Jharkhand. The college is promoted by a group of educationists. The college is certified by ISO 9000:2000 certificate for quality and approved by AICTE and affiliated to vinoba Bhave University Hazaribag.

Campus:

The college is located at Mahuvan, Jhumri Tilaiya in district Koderma (Jharkhand). The college campus is spread in an area of 57 acres of lush green land, surrounded by hills making a place serene and peaceful for focused learning. The institute is about 20km from the Grand Trunk Road and 14km from Tilaiya Dam.

Programmes:

The college is offering five courses in the graduate engineering disciplines with the total intake capacity of 420 students. The courses offered by the RIT are approved by AICTE and affiliated to VBU Hazaribag.

Facilities:

The college has spacious and ventilated classrooms, well equipped labs and workshops, seminar halls, computer centre having 300 systems equipped with latest hardware and software and Wi-Fi facility. A well stocked library having more than 7000 books, the library consists of four sections having reading room, stock section, book bank section, Educational resource section. The other facility provided by the college includes separate hostel facility for boys and girls, canteen and mess facility, medical and transportation facility.

Placement:

The Training and Placement cell of RIT comprises of a team of professionals having vast experience in evaluation, training and liaison with the real-life work places. The cell assists its student in every stage of their recruitment process. The cell also conducts personality development programs for the overall development of its students.
