PSPCL Assistant Engineers and Assistant Manager Recruitment

Punjab State Power Corporation limited (PSPCL) has issued a notification regarding the future recruitment for the post of Assistant engineers (on training) and Assistant Managers (IT Systems), on the basis of  GATE scores. Hence the recruitment for the post of assistant engineers and Assistant Mangers will be conducted on the GATE (graduate aptitude test in engineering) merit list from 1/01/2015.

The notification has been issued for the following post in the Punjab State Power Corporation limited.

• Assistant Engineer/OT (Electrical)
• Assistant Engineer/OT (Mechanical)
• Assistant Engineer/OT (Electronics & Communication)
• Assistant Engineer/OT (Instrumentation & Control)
• Assistant Engineer/OT (Civil)
• Assistant Manager (AM/IT Systems)

Eligibility

Educational Qualifications:

Assistant Engineer (On Training):

Full time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc degree in engineering with min. 60% marks or equivalent degree recognized by AICTE.

• Electrical Engineering: Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communication ( code of gate paper is Electrical Engineering)
• Mechanical Engineering: Mechanical Engineering ( code of gate paper is Mechanical Engineering )
• Civil Engineering: Civil Engineering ( code of gate paper is Civil Engineering )
• Electronics & Communication: Electronics & Communication ( code of gate paper is Electronics & Communication )
• Instrumentation & Control: Instrumentation & Control Engineering (code of gate paper is Instrumentation Engineering )

Assistant Manager/IT Systems:

The candidates appearing in the final year of their engineering or other qualifying degree can also apply, but they must have completed the degree with qualification mentioned at the time of document verification.

Age limit:

The age limit and relaxation in age is applicable as per the govt. of Punjab. The current age criteria is 20 to 37 years as on 1st January of the calender year in which the notification has been issued.

Knowledge of Punjabi:

The candidates must have passed Punjabi at least up to matric/10th standard up to the last date of receipt of application.
