Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida was established in the year 2001 and has been declared as a “Deemed University” under section 3 of UGC Act 1956. It is recognized under University Grant Commission. All the courses are approved by AICTE- All India Council of Technical Education and MHRD- Ministry of Human Recourse and Development, New Delhi. It is recognized by UP Board of Technical Education, State Government of UP. The under graduate programs of the university have been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Ragging activities are strictly banned in and out of the campus as per AICTE regulation and direction by Honorable Supreme Court of India.

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida is situated at sector-62 and at Wish Town Village in sector-128 in Noida district of UP. Being very near to the capital of India as New Delhi, it is much worldwide connected from any country and facilitating by metro rail very soon from Delhi.
