Institute of Technology & Management (ITM) was established in the year of 1998 as a private and self-financed institution set up by the Chedi Lal Madan Lal Trust. The college is affiliated to the UP Technical University, Lucknow. The college is approved by AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. The college is recognized by the UP Board of Technical Education and State Government of UP.

The college is situated on Aligarh – Palwal – Delhi Road in Karsua Village in Aligarh the district of UP. The college is 12 km away from the Aligarh City. The college is well connected by the roads. The ragging activities are banned inside the college as per the regulation of ACITE.

The college is offering total 10 academic programmes as diploma, UG and PG programmes in the field of engineering & technology and management.
