Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology (IERT) is a government aided, co-educational institution administered by the state government of UP. The college was established in the year 1955 by a society “Institute of engineering and technology”. The college starts the engineering degree education in the year 2001 with affiliation from UP Technical University, Lucknow. The campus is approved by AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. It is recognized by the Board of Technical Education, State Govt. of UP.

Campus:

IERT is situated at Chaitham Lines in Allahabad the district of UP. The campus is spread over an area of 26.5 acres of land. The college is located in beautiful and pollution free environment with well laid roads and lush green lawns. The college is very much approachable by the local transport beside the conveyance facility provided by the college.

Programmes:

IERT offers 3 B.Tech degrees and eight diploma programmes containing 9 programmes in the field of engineering and a diploma in management and a post diploma in computer application.
