IIITM Kerala 2025 Counselling
The counselling for IIITM Kerala 2025 will start for the candidates who will be qualified for the entrance exam. For the counselling, candidates will be called on the basis of their ranks secured in the entrance test or any national level exam (DUAT).
In the counselling, candidates have to bring their original certificates along with the original ones. Only after the verification of original documents, the candidates will be allotted the final seat.
The admission formalities will also be done by the candidates (only those who will be allotted the seats) at the allotted campus. Candidates also have to submit the admission fee at the time of admission. Only after the payment of the fee, are candidates allowed to get final admission.
IIITM Kerala 2025 Counselling Schedule
To attend the counselling, candidates have to present in person at the allotted venue. Candidates have to attend the counselling only at the specified time period by the officials. Other than the allotted time period, no candidate will be allowed to appear in the counselling.
The online counselling will start after the declaration of entrance exam result. The counselling will start in third week of July 2025. Complete details of counselling will be sent to the candidate’s mail id.
The counselling will be conducted in various rounds depending upon the availability of seats. For each round, the candidates will get shortlisted and intimated regarding counselling date and time.

Based on NET/GATE/ IIITM-K admission test score, the officials release the list of candidates provisionally selected for each phase of counselling. A separate list allotment will be released for each course.
Eligible and shortlisted candidates have to attend physical counselling and block their seats. Candidates have to reserve their seats on the spot by submitting the required admission fees.
A failure to either report personally or block the seat within the specified time will result in cancellation of the offer and the seat offered will be allotted to the next eligible candidate in the list.
Documents Required for Admission:
All the candidates will be allotted the seat have to bring the certificates which are mentioned below:
- Provisional/Degree certificates and mark sheets (in support of eligibility to the course)
- Declaration (those candidates who are in the final year of the qualifying exam)
- Transfer Certificate (from institution last attended)
- Conduct Certificate (from institution last studied)
- Caste Certificate (for reservation category)
- Income Certificate (if seeking admission based on reservation category).
- 2 recent passport size photos
IIITM Kerala 2025 Admission
After the completion of counselling, candidates will be asked to get final admission by submitting the fee. Candidates have to carry their original documents and take the final admission.
Candidates will have to submit Rs. 30000/- (Thirty thousand only) towards first installment of tuition fee (not refundable, adjustable with semester fee).
The admission to M.Sc programme will be given through ITCAT/ GATE scores and admission to M.Phill will be given through ITRAT/ GATE or NET Scores. Candidates must qualify for the written test with a minimum qualifying cut-off as prescribed by the institute.
