Gyan Bharti Institute of Technology, Meerut

Gyan Bharti Institute of Technology (GBIT) was established in the year 2008 as a private, self-financed and co-educational institution set up by the Gyan Bharti Shiksha Prasar Nayas. The affiliation body of the college is UPTU, Lucknow. The approval bodies of the college are AICTE, MHRD, New Delhi and State Government of UP.

Campus:

The GBIT is situated at Gyan Nagar on the National Highway-58 (Parapet Bypass Road), opposite of Ansal Sushant City in Meerut, the district of UP. The GBIT is co-located with Institute of Management and Computer Studies (IMCS) spread over in 13 acres of land. The IMCS is affiliated to the Meerut University.

Programmes:

The GBIT is offering 5 B.Tech & 2 M.Tech degree programmes, 2 polytechnic diploma programmes and an MBA programme in various disciplines of engineering, technology and management. The IMCS offers BBA and BCA programmes.

Students & Faculty:

The GBIT offers more than 600 seats for admission in all programmes. More than 45 faculty members are deputed in the campus for providing the quality education in both institutes.

Facilities:

The college provides the best medical facility to the students through a qualified medical officer. The college has a proper dress code for uniformity and discipline. The campus has a fleet of buses as a conveyance facility for the students and the staff. The college provides the scholarships to the meritorious students.

The campus has a placement cell which conducts the trainings for the improvement of communication skills, development skills, and presentation skills and arranges the seminar, guest lectures and campus interviews.
