Delhi Institute of Engineering & Technology (DIET) was established in the year 2009 as a private and self-financed institute set up by the Uma Shankar Educational Trust. The college is affiliated to the Mahamaya Technical University, Noida. The college is approved by the AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. The college is recognized by the UP Board of Technical Education and State Government of UP.

Campus:

The DIET is situated on Partapur Bypass Road, 5 km off National Highway-58 in Ghat Institutional Area in Meerut, the district of UP. The college is located in the outskirts of the Delhi-NCR region and well accessible from the nearby cities by the roads and local transports. The sprawling campus spread over an area of 6 acres of lush green land.

Programmes:

The DIET offers 4 year full-time B.Tech degree in five disciplines of engineering and technology. The admission in all courses is to be done by the UPTU Entrance Examination and counselling.

Faculty:

The college is committed to offer the best technical education by the best team of faculty. The college has 27 dynamic members of faculty, dedicate to their work.

The college provides a state of the art infrastructure with fully air-conditioned classrooms and world-class laboratories. The college has a high-tech computer lab with 24 hour internet connectivity. The college also has a digital library, gym and separated hostels for the boys and the girls.

Placement:

The college has a training and placement cell headed by an experienced professional. The cell actively involves and arranges the visits of various companies and officials coming for campus interviews. The cell also conducts the development and soft skills programmes for the students.

The college conducts yoga classes, conferences, seminars, sports week and annual day as the curricular activities.
