Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to pursue Pharmacy courses, candidates have to fulfill the given eligibility criteria:

  • For admission to the Pharmacy courses, student must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology.
  • Students have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Students, those pass the three year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) are also eligible for B.Pharm course.
  • For admission to M.Pharma course, candidates must pass B.Pharma from a recognised institute in India.

Admission Process

To get admission into the B.Pharmacy course, students have to complete their 10+2 education & apply for national level or state level Pharmacy entrance exams.

Candidates can appear in the state level Pharmacy entrance exams such as TS EAMCET 2025, AP EAMCET 2025 ,BCECE 2025, WBJEE 2025 etc as per the eligibility criteria of the exams.

For admission to PG courses like M.Pharm, candidates should appear in Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT 2025).

There are various exams conducted by private and public universities for the admission to the various graduate and postgraduate Pharmacy courses.

Candidates with a master degree in Pharmacy can work in research and development, the pacakage in research/teaching and R&D could range between  Rs. 9 to 12 Lakh per annum. In abroad the starting salary of a registered pharmicist could be anywhere between $40000 to $60000 per annum.
