YMT Dental College & Research Institute was established in the year 1999 and offers courses in medical specialties at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The institution is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science and approved by Dental Council of India (DCI).

Campus

The institution is situated in Kharghar Mumbai. The campus has separate academic block and student block. It has world class infrastructure and is equipped with all the necessary and latest facilities.

Facilities

Various necessary facilities are provided by the institution such as separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls along with the mess facility. The institution has state of the art computer centre, classrooms which are equipped with audio- visual aids to facilitate teaching-learning process. The institution has a library which is equipped with journals, periodicals, magazines and project reports. Programmes

YMT Dental College & Research Institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate programme in the medical field. The institution offers undergraduate course in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) which is having the duration of five years along with the compulsory rotational internship training of one year. It also offers postgraduate course in Master of Dental surgery (MDS) for the duration of three years.

Internship

The students enrolled for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course has to do the compulsory rotational internship of one year. The compulsory rotational internship period in dental course provides for better opportunities for practical training and skill development.
