Yamuna Group of Institutions, Yamunanagar

Yamuna Group of Institutions (YGI) was established in the year 2008 by the Ch. Lekh Raj Educational & Charitable Trust. The YGI is a private and self-financing institutional group presently with five institutions namely Yamuna Polytechnic for Engineering (affiliated to the HSBTE), Yamuna Institute of Engineering & Technology (affiliated to KU), Yamuna Institute of management (affiliated to KU), Yamuna Institute of Dental Sciences & Research (affiliated to BDS University) and Yamuna Institute of Education (affiliated to NCTE). The YGI is approved by the AICTE and DTE Haryana. The engineering institute, management college and polytechnic are accredited by the ISO 9001:2008 certified institution.

Campus:

The campus is sited on the State Highway in Village Gadholi at post Gadhola and Tehsil Jagadhri in Yamuna Nagar, the district of Haryana. The campus is spread over in 30 acres of land. The YGI campus is 15 km away from the Jagadhri city and 5 km from Mustafabad Railway Station.

Programmes:

The YGI conducts 7 polytechnic programmes, 11 B.Tech degree programmes, BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), BBA and an MBA programme in various fields of professional education.

Students & Faculty:

The YGI has more than 1516 seats as the annual intake capacity in all programmes. The YGI has more than 200 faculty members from all departments of the all institutions.

Facilities:

The YGI campus has the facilities for transportation, medical care, sports activities, seminar hall, banking & ATM, cafeteria, internet and separate accommodation for boys and girls. The YGI provides the library, laboratories, canteen, computer centre, lecture hall and science laboratories.

Activities:

The YGI organizes the workshop, guest lectures, industrial visits, physical education, sports activities, NCC activities and extracurricular activities.

Placement:

The YGI campus has a Placement & Training cell to facilitate job placement opportunity to the students through the campus recruitment. The cell provides the PPT, SST, PDP and mock interviews.
