VSPM’s Dental College & Research Center, Nagpur

VSPM’s Dental College & Research Center was came into existence in the year of 1996. This college has an approval of DCI (Dental Council of India) and affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. This college was started with the intake of 60 seats and now it is increased to 100 seats.

Campus

The campus is located at Digdoh Hills, Hingna Road, Nagpur district of the Maharashtra state. The total campus area is around 52 acres out of which 7 acres are marked for dental college campus. The campus is well-connected with the road and rail transportation.

Facilities

This college has a central, digital and well-stocked library which has a vast collection of books, periodicals, etc. It also has subscribed to various journals and magazines. All the classrooms are fully furnished and equipped with the modern teaching aids. It houses various department wise laboratories equipped with latest equipment.

Programmes

VSPM’s Dental College & Research Center runs various dental courses like BDS and MDS. The duration of BDS course is total five years. This college gives admission to 100 students for BDS course every year. For admission in BDS course, students should have passed intermediate or equivalent exam with physics, chemistry and biology subjects. The BDS course will comprises of demonstrations, clinical works, group discussion, seminars, conferences, lectures, etc. Duration of MDS course is three years with the intake capacity of 100 students.
