Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore

The Vikrama Simhapuri University was established on 25th June 2008 through an Act No. 29/2008 enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh. It is a public university with the approval of UGC (University Grants Commission). This university was granted with the full-fledged status by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in the year of 2010.

Campus

This university has a sprawling campus located in Nellore district of the state Andhra Pradesh. The government of Andhra Pradesh has provided around 87 acres of land to the university for campus construction. The campus is well-accessible through the transportation facility.

Facilities

This university provides accommodation facilities for students. Hostel rooms are well-ventilated and fully furnished and equipped with all the general amenities. It houses a spacious library which is fully stocked with the collection of books, national and international journals, reports, projects, etc on different subjects. Other facility comprises of fast internet connectivity, advance computer centre, hygienically maintained canteen, sports facility, medical facility and many more.

Programmes

Vikrama Simhapuri University offers a Master in Business Administration (MBA) programme. It is a two years course comprises of four semesters. This university also offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different fields such as computer applications, arts, commerce, science and technology.

Placement

This university has a dedicated training and placement cell headed by the placement officer. The TP cell maintains contact with the industry and invites them for campus interviews. It organizes different sessions on skill & personality development, group discussions, interview skill, placement counselling, etc. to assist students in the placement process.
