Vikram University, Ujjain

Vikram University was established on the 1st of March, 1957. The foundation of Vikram University was laid by the then Home Minister of India Shri Govind Vallabh Pant on the 23rd of October, 1956. The objective of university is to emerge as a unique place of learning by way of combining and coordinating traditional and contemporary knowledge to promote traditional Indian culture, arts, heritage, science and literature.

Campus

The Vikram University is situated in an urban area of Ujjain. The university campus consists of school block and administrative block. The university has satellite campus which makes the university global. University campus has road access to connect different departments of the university. The university is situated near a railway station about 300 meters from the campus, Vikram Nagar railway station from where the main campus is at a walking distance.

Facilities

Vikram University offers a wide variety of facilities to their students like as computer center with internet connectivity. The centre works round the clock to meet all the requirements within the time limit, University Science and Instrumentation Centre, library with rich number of books like current awareness, subject related books and many more, university press, Inflibnet centre to provide the information of research journals and books to the students, sports, separate hostel for boys and girls, bank for financial transactions and submitting fees, postal services etc.
