Venkatramana Ayuveda College was established in the year 1979 and offers courses in medical specialties at the undergraduate level. The institution is affiliated to Dr.M.G.R.Medical University Tamil Nadu and approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine.

Programmes

Venkatramana Ayuveda College offers undergraduate course in Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S). The duration of the B.A.M.S course is five and a half years with the compulsory rotational internship training of one year. The candidates those want to pursue B.A.M.S course must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in qualifying examination taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
