University of Rajasthan, Jaipur is one of the oldest University established in the year 1947. It is the public University that runs faculties in various fields. It has 9 faculties, 37 departments and 22 centres. The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).It imparts higher education to the students with the help of its highly qualified and experienced faculties.
Campus
University of Rajasthan has state-of-the-art campus spreading over an area of 0.8529 km² or 1020180 yd² Square Yards. It is located in Jawaharlal Nehru Marg also known as the central spine of Jaipur in the Indian state Rajasthan. The campus is connected with all the major cities through roads and railway tracks.
Facilities
The college accommodates central library that contains text books, reference books and journals of various departments. It has co-educational facilities with separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls. It has total 18 hostels, out of which 13 are in the Main Campus and rest are situated in the Constituent Colleges. The classrooms are equipped with latest teaching aids for better learning experience. Other facilities include canteen, cafeteria, mess, medical facility, laboratories of various departments, transportation facility and many more.
Programmes
The faculty of law of University of Rajasthan, Jaipur offers PG Diploma programmes, master programes and doctor programmes in many areas of law. It offers PhD in International law, cyber law, labour laws, corporate law, constitutional law, human rights, intellectual property laws, etc. The master of law is offered in human rights and value education that has the duration of 2 years. The duration of PG Diploma courses is one year. University of Rajasthan, Jaipur offers the following law courses:

Admission
Admission to the PG programmes of the University will be done through the University of Rajasthan Entrance Test (URATPG). The merit list will be prepared on the basis of entrance test and candidate’s marks in qualifying examination. The final merit will be prepared by giving 70% weightage to the entrance test and 30% weightage to the qualifying examination.
