University of Science and Technology (USTM), Meghalaya

The USTM (University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya) is the first state university of Science & Technology in the entire North East region of India. It has been established in the year of 2008 through the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya Act, 2008. This university is approved by University Grants Commission.

Campus

The campus is located in Ri-Bhoi District of Meghalaya. The nearest railway station (Guwahati Railway Station) is just 15 kms away from the campus and nearest airport (Guwahati International Airport) is 48 km away from the main campus.

Facilities

This university offers separate hostel facility for boys and girls with all the necessary facilities. It also provides well-equipped laboratories for all departments, computerized central library, computer center with latest configuration, 24 hours power back-up, conference hall, canteen and departmental store, medical and health care centre, gymnasium, transport facility, indoor and outdoor sports facility, etc.
