University Institute of Technology, Burdwan
The University Institute of Technology is also known as UIT. The UIT is affiliated to Burdwan University. It has been established in the year of 2000. This University is located in Burdwan, West Bengal, India. It is approved by the (AICTE) All India Council for Technical Education and the government of West Bengal. The institute has an educational association with IBM, Oracle Corporation, etc. and is accredited by TCS.
Campus
The institution is located on 100 km northwest of Kolkata, on the southern area of Grand Trunk Road. The close by airport is in Kolkata on one and a half hours’ drive through the NH2. The institute has an accommodating campus of 316 acres in three locations, almost 50 main buildings and Eco plot of 56.3 acre land.
Facilities
The hostel facility is available for both girls and boys. At the University, there are four Boys hostels named ‘Banabas’ Hostel and the Girls Hostel named ‘Madam Curie Girls’. This university provides others facilities to the students like Medical facility, laboratory, extracurricular activities, library and computing facilities.

The Placement Cell comprises the College authorities, Placement Officer, the faculty members and the students. There were some companies through which the students of the college have held placements are TCS, IBM, L&T, Infotech, Infosys, I-Flex, FCG, CMC or many other companies.
