THDC Institute of Hydro Power Engineering and Technology, Tehri-Garhwal
THDC Institute of Hydropower Engineering and Technology (THDC-IHET) is recognized as a first hydropower technical institute of India and Asia. It is a government institution and a constituent Institute of Uttarakhand Technical University. The institution has been established in the year 2011 by the joint initiative of the State Government and THDC Ltd. The institution is affiliated to the UTU, Dehradun and approved by the AICTE.
Campus:
The Institution is spread over in 20 acres of land at around 150 km away from the Dehradun in Town Bhagirathipuram in District Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The campus is situated on the THDC project site of Tehri Dam.
