Thapar University, Patiala, is a private aided university established in the year 1956 by Karam Chand Thapar. The university is located in Patiala district of Punjab. The university is one of the top private universities in the country. Thapar university offers various graduate and post-graduate programs in Engineering, Management, Science and Social sciences.
