Terna Medical College, Mumbai

Terna Medical College was established in the year 1991 and offers courses in medical specialties at the undergraduate level. The institution is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and approved by Medical Council of India (MCI).

Campus

The institution is situated in Mumbai. The campus is well-established with all the necessary and latest facilities and is designed in keeping in mind the requirements of a medical college.

Facilities

Various necessary facilities are provided by the institution such as separate hostel facilities for boys and girls along with the mess facility. The institution has a computer lab which is well-established with the advanced PC’s, high bandwidth internet connectivity, high end servers and multimedia systems. It has air- conditioned lecture theatres which are equipped with LCD, OHP and projectors. The institution has a library which has a vast gathering of books, national and international journals, magazines and reports. The institution has an amphitheatre, a cafeteria and also provides sports facility to the students.

Programmes

Terna Medical College offers undergraduate course in the medical field. The institution offers undergraduate course in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) for the duration of four and a half years with the compulsory rotational internship training of one year. The candidates those want to pursue MBBS course must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in qualifying examination taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
