Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology, Pune

Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology (SCIT) is a constituent institute of Symbiosis International University that was founded in the year of 1999. The Institution is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India. SCIT is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ Grade.

Campus

The campus is situated in the center of the IT industry, Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Pune. SCIT is run by Chief Administrator that manages the entire campus amenities and infrastructure. It has state-of-the-art academic blocks with the facility of Audio-visual equipment’s. The Institution is fully residential and offers excellent facilities to students.

Facilities

SCIT has a modern library with over 9,000 books on management and technology and almost 1300 CD’s. There is a facility of gymnasium, swimming pool, security, cafeteria, housekeeping, ATM counter and mess. The Institution has excellent healthcare facilities with a local doctor, mini operation theater and a connection with a restricted hospital for emergency services. There are also a computer Labs that are equipped with a rich suite of hardware and software packages. The Institution has an open-air amphitheater and 400-seater auditorium. It also provides separate hostels for girls and boys with wi-fi connectivity.

Programmes

The Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in IT Business Management. It also offers MBA-executive in Information Technology.

The Placement cell organizes guest lectures, seminars and workshops on career, entrepreneurship, opportunities & personality development.
