Swift Group of Colleges, Patiala

Swift Group of Colleges, Patiala is a private aided self financed college located in the Patiala district of Punjab. The college was established in the year 2011 with the objective of providing quality education in the fields of Engineering, Management, and Nursing education with the all around development of the students and to make them industry ready professionals. The college is promoted by Ind-Swift group and is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar and approved by AICTE New Delhi. The college is also certified with ISO 9001:2008 certifications.

Campus:

The campus of the SGC is located at Ghaggar Sarai, Tehsil Rajpura in Patiala (Punjab). The college provides all major facilities to its students, and a peaceful and pollution free environment for focused learning.

Programmes:

The college is offering five courses in the graduate engineering discipline; with an intake capacity of 60 students per branch. All courses offered by STC are approved by AICTE and affiliated to PTU Jalandhar.

Facilities:

The college provides sufficient facilities to its students having spacious and ventilated classrooms, well equipped labs and workshops, well stocked library comprising of large volumes of books and journals, separate hostel facility for boys and girls, canteen and mess facility, computer centre with internet connectivity with well equipped hardware and software.

Activities:

The college encourages students to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities for the all round development of their personality. The major activities that are organized in the college are Guest lectures, Annual Events, Workshops, Cultural and Social Events, Sports Meet etc.

The Training and Placement cell of the college provide ample training and placement opportunities to the students of final/pre final year. The cell has a tie-up with many renowned companies of the country and the world to provide campus placement to the deserving students. The cell also conducts various personality development programmes like soft skill training, interview tips, presentation skills to improve the overall personality of the students.
