Swami Vivekanand Govt. P.G. College, Narsinghpur was formed in the year of 1958. The college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is affiliated to the Rani Durgavati University. The law courses are approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Campus
The campus of the college is situated in MLB Road Shankracharya ward, Kandeli, Narsinghpur. Madhya Pradesh. The college has sprawling campus spread over 1.75 acres of land. The campus is well-linked with the road transportation facility.

Programmes
Swami Vivekanand Govt. P.G. College imparts three years undergraduate programme in the area of law, i.e. Bachelor of Laws (LLB). There are 40 seats available for LLB programme. The college also runs UG & PG programmes in the field of Science, Arts & Commerce.

Admission
Students who seek admission into LLB programme, they have to qualify the three years bachelor degree examination from a recognized university. Students have to score at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST category). Students have to qualify the entrance exam to get admission into LLB course. The entrance exam will be conducted by the Rani Durgavati University.
