SSR Medical College, Delhi
SSR Medical College offer courses in medical specialties at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The institution was established in the year 1996 and is affiliated to University of Mauritius. The institution is approved by Medical Council of Mauritius.
Campus
The institution is located in Delhi. The campus consists of the administrative block and student block and is well-equipped with all the necessary facilities which are required for the medical college.
Facilities
Various necessary facilities are provided by the institution for the all round development and recreation of the students such as library which has an extensive range of monograph titles, large number of periodicals, audio-visual collections and provides many electronic data base on CD-ROM titles. The institution has air-conditioned classrooms which are facilitated with OHP, LCD and slide projectors. The college has a computer centre with internet access, which provides computing resources for the students and staff. The institution has an auditorium for various cultural events. It has a cafeteria etc.
Programmes
SSR Medical College offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is the undergraduate course offered by the institution. It offers postgraduate course in Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS). The MBBS course is having the duration of five and a half years with the compulsory rotational internship training of one year while the duration of the MD and MS courses are three years.
