SRM University, Sonipat
SRM University, Sonipat came into existence in the year of 1985 as an SRM Engineering College. In 2006, the university named as SRM University. It is private university that was established by the SRM Institute of Science & Technology Trust (SRM IST Trust), Chennai. The University is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Campus
The University campus is situated in Rajiv Gandhi Education City, P.S. Rai (Post Office) near Delhi-NCR. The campus is well-linked with the road & rail transportation facility. The campus of the university is spread over 47.68 acres of land.
Facilities
The Classrooms are spacious & well-equipped with the audio-visual communication aids such as Projector, Electronic Podium & Effective Interactive Board. The Central Library has a huge collection of books, magazines, journals, audio-visual material, interesting computerized online systems and CD-ROMs. The Computer Centre is well-maintained with the advanced computers with the latest specifications and 24×7 internet facilities. SRM University, School of Legal Studies runs three years Bachelor of Laws (LLB (Hons.)), one year Master of Laws (LLM), five years integrated courses, i.e. Bachelor of Business Administration & Bachelor of Laws (BBA LLB (Hons.)), Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Laws (BA LLB (Hons.)) & Bachelor of Commerce & Bachelor of Laws (B.Com LLB (Hons.)) & two years Ph.D in Law.

Admission
The minimum eligibility criteria for admission into BA LLB (Hons.), B.Com LLB (Hons.) & BBA LLB (Hons.) is 10+2 or equivalent. Those students seek admission into the LLB (Hons.) programme, they have to complete the graduation degree. Students have to pass the three years/ five years LLB degree to get admission into LLM course. The admission into these courses as per the university norms.
