Sri Vasavi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences came into existence in the year of 2005 by the Sri Vasavi Educational Society. The institution is approved by All India Council for Technical Education and Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. This institution is affiliated to Andhra University. The institution was established to impart quality education in pharmacy field.

The campus is situated at Pedatadepalli, West Godavari district of the Andhra Pradesh state. The institution is around 7 Kms away from Tadepalligudem Town. The campus is well-accessible by the road and rail transportation.
