Sree Narayana Law College, Ernakulam

Sree Narayana Law College (SNLC), Ernakulam came into existence on 24th October 2012. The College was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Justice K.S. Radhakrishnan. SNLC is managed by the Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam. The college is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University & approved by the Bar Council of India.

Campus

The college campus is situated on the State Highway – 15 Poothotta, Puthenkavu, Ernakulam, Kerala. The college has a world-class infrastructure which comprises of the Administrative, Academic & Students Block. The campus is located 20 km away from the Ernakulam South Railway Station.

Facilities

There is a moot court room facility to provide practical training & improve the advocacy skills of the students. The college has a well-maintained library & the reading room with the wide collection of text books, Law Journals, periodicals, newspapers and magazines. The computer labs are well-equipped with the High speed Broad Band Connectivity. Other facilities offered by the college are: legal aid clinic, canteen, playground, seminar & conference hall, etc.

Programmes

Sree Narayana Law College (SNLC), Ernakulam imparts three years & five years integrated law courses, i.e. Bachelor of Law (LLB) & Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Law (BA LLB). The annual intake for each course is 60.

Admission

Students who have completed their 10+2 examination from a recognized university, they can apply for the BA LLB programme. Student’s age should not exceed 20 years (22 years for reserved category) as on 31st December of the admission year. Those students seek admission into LLB course, they have to qualify their graduation degree. There is no upper age limit for admission into LLB course. Students have to secure at least 45% marks in case of the GEN category & 40% marks in case of the SC/ST category in the qualifying examination. The admission into these courses will be based on the entrance exam supervised by the Entrance Commissioner Kerala & also according to the college norms.
