This institute is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Gujarat and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Sitarambhai Naranji Patel Institute of Technology & Research Centre (SNPITRC) was previously known as the Vidyabharti Trust Institute of Technology and Research Centre.
