Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa
Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa was founded by the 1963. It is affiliated to the Awdhesh Praptap Singh University, Rewa. The college own building was inaugurated on 3 October 1980 by Shri Arjun Singh, then Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. It is recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi.
Campus
The college campus is located in the heart of Rewa city that is the land of white tigers in Madhya Pradesh. The college is associated with Sanjay Gandhi and Gandhi Memorial Hospital. The college is well-linked with the road & rail transportation.
Facilities
The college has well-stocked library with a rich collection of textbooks and reference books, National and International journals, periodicals, newspaper and magazines. There is separate reading room in the library for the faculty, postgraduate and undergraduate medical student. The college also has separate hostels for Boys and Girls. Other facilities are bank, indoor & outdoor sports, seminar & conference hall, auditorium, canteen, medical, laboratories and computer labs. There is also a well-established classroom that is equipped with the audio-visual aids.

Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa offers 5 ½ years Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). 100 seats are offered by the college for MBBS programme. 15% seats will be filled by the All-India quota and 85% seats will be filled by MP quota.
