Shri Vasant Rao Naik Govt. Medical College, Yavatmal

Shri Vasant Rao Naik Govt. Medical College was came into existence in the year of 1989 with the efforts of Late Shri Jawaharlalji Darda and Late Shri Sudhakarraoji Naik former chief minister of Maharashtra state. It was named after Ex. Chief Minister Late Shri Vasantrao Naik. This college is affiliate with Amravati University and approved by MCI (Medical Council of India).

Campus

The campus is located on Yavatmal district of the state of Maharashtra. The city is well-linked by the road to the nearby cities such as Nagpur, Amravati, Wardha, Akola etc. The campus comprises of main building with academic block and students block. The nearest railway station is situated in Dhamangaon which is around 40 kms away from the campus.

Facilities

This college provides accommodation facilities for boys as well as girls. The library is constructed over 1484.186 Sq. M. with reading room facility. This college also offers specialty facilities like CT scan, Ultrasonography, Digital X-ray, Doppler vascular studies, etc. It houses an ultra modern auditorium to organize academic & extra curricular activities. This college has an attached Hospital with 594 beds. It also offers well-equipped laboratories, fully furnished classrooms, library, canteen, sports facility, medical facility, etc.
