Shri Chintamani Smarak Vidhi Mahavidyalaya, Pratapgarh

Shri Chintamani Smarak Vidhi Mahavidyalaya (SCSVM), Pratapgarh was established by the Pandit Chintamani Smarak Shikshan Sansthan in the year of 2006. The college is affiliated to the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad. It is approved by the Bar Council of India, Government of India, New Delhi.

Campus

The college is situated on National Highway – 96, Pratapgarah Sultanpur Road, District Pratapgarh, UP. The SCSVM is located 7 km away from the Pratapgarh District Court. The college has a state-of-art infrastructure with separate academic blocks & administrative blocks.

Facilities

There is a well-established library with lots of gathering of books, reports, periodicals & journals (legal magazines), projects, etc. The college has spacious & well-equipped classrooms with the facility of LCD Projector & audio-visual aids. The college also offers various facilities such as cafeteria, computer lab, seminar hall, conference hall, internet, playground, etc. The moot court hall is available in the college to improve the student’s advocacy skills, live performance, etc.

Programmes

Shri Chintamani Smarak Vidhi Mahavidyalaya, Pratapgarh offer undergraduate course in the field of law, i.e. Bachelor of Law (LLB). It is three years full time programme. There are 240 seats available for the LLB programme.

Law Course:

Admission

Students have to pass the bachelor degree or equivalent examination in any discipline from Avadh University or any other university. They have to secure at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination. There is 5% relaxation in the qualifying marks for the reserved category students. The admission into LLB course will be through the entrance exam organized by the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University. 15% seats will be filled through management quota.
