Seemanta Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SIPS), Jharpopkharia, Mayurbhanj, Orrisa is the only premiere private technical institution in the North Orrisa region offering education in Pharmaceutical Science. The institution was established ion year 1982. At present the institution is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology and approved by PCI & AICTE and Govt. of Orrisa.

Seemanta Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SIPS), Jharpopkharia by the side of N.H.-6 (Mumbai-Kolkate National Highway) 30kms away from Baripada. The campus is well-connected by Roadways with the neighboring states of Jharkhand, West Bengal & Bihar. The nearest railway station is Baripada i.e. is 30 km away from the college.
