Sarada Vilas Pharmacy College, Mysore

Sarada Vilas Pharmacy College, Mysore was established in the year 1992 with the establishment of the Trust. The motive of the college is to promote highest professional and ethical standards of pharmacy to cater the needs of pharmacy education in the country. The college of pharmacy is registered by Government of Karnataka, approved by All India Council for technical Education, New Delhi & Pharmacy Council of India. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore.

Campus

Sarada Vilas pharmacy College of Pharmacy is situated in the Sarada Vilas Campus in Krishnamurthy puram, in the city of Mysore. The college is 3 km from Mysore Railway station and 4 km from Mysore suburban Bus stand, Mysore is about 140 km from Bangalore city, the capital of Karnataka State. Bangalore is well-connected by road, rail and air to all part of the country.

Facilities

The college offers multi-disciplinary facilities for students in its campus. The lecture halls and LCD projectors are equipped in the classrooms and halls. Highly qualified and experienced faculty members are employed to impart quality education. It has well-organized central library, auditoriums, computer labs, seminar hall, laboratories, etc. The college also offers the extra-curricular activities for the development of the student’s personality.

Programmes

The Pharmacy College was started in the year 1992-93 with D. Pharmacy course. The B.Pharmacy course was added in the year 2004-2005 and M. Pharmacy course in the year 2010-2011. Later on Pharm.D course was added in the year 2012-2013. The college offered all these courses under the approval of Pharmacy council of India, New Delhi. Placement

The college established a training & placement cell for the students. It also provides exposure visits to fields which enable the students to acquire hands on experience and update their knowledge in the subject areas.
