Rungta College of Engineering & Technology, Raipur was established in the year 2009 as a private and self-financed engineering college administered by the Rungta Group. The college is affiliated to the Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University and approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, Govt. of India and DTE, Raipur, Govt. of Chhattisgarh. This college is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and NBA.

The college is located in the Rungtas Educational Campus behind the Nandan Van in Raipur district of Chhattisgarh state. The college is located in the outskirt of the city Raipur. the campus is very well-connected by the road. The Raipur city is well-accessible by the road, rail and air network by the all major cities of the country.
