Roorkee Institute of Technology (RIT) is a private institution set up by the Himalayan Charitable Trust in the year 2005. The RIT is affiliated to the UTU, Dehradun and approved by the AICTE and Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education.

Campus:

The RIT campus is spread over in 20 acres of land located near NH-58 (Roorkee – Dehradun Road) at Tehsil Roorkee in District Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The campus is 8 km away from the Roorkee City.

Programmes:

The RIT campus provides the language lab, guest lecture, medical facility, computing & internet facility, transport facility, auditorium, canteen, health care centre, a library, laboratories, sports facility and separate hostels for boys and girls.

Activities:

The RIT campus conducts the workshop, seminars and technical festival. The campus organizes extracurricular activities like annual festival, Republic Day, Independence Day, blood donation camp and Vishkarma Pooja.
