Ramaiah University of Applied Science (RUAS) was established in December, 2013 under the Karnataka University Act. It is a private university with the approval of UGC (University Grants Commission). Currently, RUAS offers more than 64 programmes across 9 faculties. This university offers variety of courses in engineering, life science, management and various other fields. Campus
Ramaiah University of Applied Science (RUAS) is located at MSR Nagar, Bangalore. It is well connected by road, rail and airways transportation. It have mainly two campuses, i.e. Gnanagangothri campus and Technology campus (Peenya campus).
Gnanagangothri campus is located in Mathikere and is home to 21 education and healthcare initiatives by the Ramaiah Group. Peenya campus is located in the industrial heart of Bengaluru, it offers studies in the field of engineering, technology, arts, design etc.
Facilities
There are many facilities provided in the colleges like on campus accommodations, indoor and outdoor game facilities, internet server, well-equipped gym, library, solar power facility, parking facility, board room, medical facility for staff and students both.
The university also have societies and eight clubs to chose from dance, debate, dramatic, literary club etc.

Admission
The interested candidates who want to take admission in Ramaiah University has to clear the entrance test. RUAS Admission Test (RUAS AT) is a university entrance test which is conducted for certain undergraduate programs of RUAS.
Candidates who are seeking admission in B.Tech, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, B.Sc. (Honors) have to participate in the entrance test.
Candidates also have to make sure in addition to qualifying the entrance test, they must also meet the eligibility requirement. Apart from entrance test, admissions will also be done on the basis of merit of the respective course.

The RUAS have worked with many reputed companies and organizations for securing placement and internships for their students. The Directorate of Student Affair assist the placement process as they invite various companies for campus recruitment most likely in final year.
