Pt. L.R. College of Technology, Faridabad
Pt. L.R. College of Technology (PLRCT) was established in the year 2011, promoted by the Faridabad Educational Society as a private and self-financing institution. Before its inception the PLRCT was running as coaching classes since 1998. The PLRCT is affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education, Haryana and MD University, Rohtak. The PLRCT is approved by the DTE Haryana, MHRD Government of India and AICTE New Delhi.
Campus:
The PLRCT campus is sited on the Ballabgarh – Sohna Road (Via Samaypur) in village Kaboolpur Banger in Faridabad, the district of Haryana. The campus is 5 km away from the National Highway-2 and 10 km from the nearest Ballabgarh Bus Station.
Programmes:
The PLRCT is conducting the polytechnic diploma in six disciplines, B.Tech course in five disciplines and M.Tech course in two disciplines in the field of engineering and technology.
Students & Faculty:
The PLRCT offers the 1008 seats for admission as the annual intake in all programmes. The campus has total 80 faculty members from all departments. The campus follows the 1:15 faculty student ratio as per the AICTE norms.
Facilities:
The whole PLRCT campus is enabled with wi-fi internet with a central library, sports complex, transport facility, cafeteria, laboratories, workshop, computer lab and separate hostel for boys and girls.
Activities:
The campus organizes and participates in inter college and intra college sports competition. The institution celebrates the cultural festivals like Diwali and Holi, and Haryana day.
Placement:
The training and placement cell conducts the Mentorship programmes, skill development programmes and trainings to the students. The placement cell functions of the job placement for the students.
