Phonics Group of Institutions, Roorkee

Phonics Group of Institutions (PGI) is a private & self-financing and set up by the Seth Bimal Prasad Jain Educational Trust. The campus is affiliated to the Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University, Garhwal. The PGI campus is approved by the AICTE and MHRD and UBTER (Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education & Research). The campus is accredited by the IAO and awarded as the ISO 9001:2008 certified institutions.

Campus:

The PGI campus has six Schools as School of Engineering, School of Diploma Programme, School of Business, School of Education, School of Applied Science and School of Science & Commerce. The PGI campus is sited on the Kaliar Road in Village Imli Kheda Dharampur at Town Roorkee in Haridwar, the district of Uttarakhand. The campus is 9 km away from Roorkee Railway Station and 23 km from the Haridwar City. The campus is spread over in 12 acres of land.

Programmes:

The PGI offers admission over total 1720 seats as the annual intake in all programmes including 600 seats for engineering programmes. The PGI has more than 61 faculty members from all departments.

The PGI campus provides the central library, labs, wi-fi internet, art & craft centre, sports facility, canteen, separated hostels for boys & girls, health care facility & fitness centre and transportation.

Activities:

The PGI campus organizes the technical festival (Intelectium), cultural festival (Umang), sports festival (Spardha) and annual festival (Aura). The campus celebrates Phonics Rock star Night and various extracurricular activities.
