Palamuru University, Mahboobnagar was established on June 25, 2008 by Act No. 29 of 2008 enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh. It is a Public University that is approved by the Universal Grants Commission (UGC).

Campus

The University runs its campus near Bandamedi Palli, Raichur Road, Mahboobnagar, Telangana. The campus is well-linked with the road and rail facility. The nearest railway station is situated 3km away from the university and the nearest bus station is placed 2 km away from the campus.

Facilities

There are various facilities that are offered by the university such as medical, hostel, gym, indoor and outdoor sports, Laboratory and cafeteria. The University library is well-stocked with the latest collection of books, journals (National & International), periodicals, magazines, newspaper and reports that covers all the areas of management and other fields. The computer lab is highly advanced that is equipped with modern configurations and fast internet connectivity. There is also a well-equipped classroom with the facility of audio-visual aids. The university has a spacious auditorium where various functions and other co-curricular activities conduct.

Programmes

Palamuru University, Mahboobnagar offers two years full-time Master of Business administration (MBA). It also offers Master of Computer Application (MCA), M.Com, M.Sc in Mathematics, Organic Chemistry, Micro Biology and M.A in Political Science and English.
