OP Jindal University, Raigarh
OP Jindal University was established in the year 2008 with the name as OP Jindal Institute of Technology in Raigarh. Since the academic year 2014-15 the institution turned to the status of University with name as said above “OP Jindal University”. Before getting the status of university the institution was affiliated to the Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University. Now the university is approved by the UGC. The campus is developed by the Jindal Education and Welfare Society (JEWS) and promoted by the Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL).
Campus
The OP Jindal University Campus is spread over in beautiful piece of land in pleasant environment of Hemgir Forest and surrounded by many industries. The campus is located in OP Jindal Industrial Park in Panjipatra town in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. The campus is situated aside the state highway-1 (Ambikapur Highway) on the outskirt of Raigarh city. The campus of University is well-accessible by the road.
